Offset Printing 101

Offset printing was the standard method of commercial printing before digital printing. It’s a process where an image is burnt onto a plate, transferred to a blanket and then printed on a preferred paper medium with the use of pantone inks.

Generally, as print runs increase in quantity, offset printing costs per unit decrease and is an economical alternative to other digital printing options.
