Don’t Even Try to Fit In

It may be common in life but in the Direct Mail world “fitting in” is a terrible idea. These days it’s just far too easy to be ignored.variable data

Every time your customer opens their mail box your mail piece is battling for their attention.  You want yours to be the piece they pause on and read, not flip through and toss in the bin.

It’s easy to become comfortable mailing certain sized or formatted offers and rarely if ever changing the content. But in the eyes of your customer this just makes your piece easy to overlook. The great news is you have a variety of tools available to you to help you lift your response rates:

  • Personalization
  • Die cuts
  • Pressure seal / Self mailers
  • Poly bagging
  • UV coating

One or a combination of the above can really help get your offer seen. In future posts I plan to spend more time explaining the nuances of each process.  In the meantime you can speak with one of our knowledgeable print experts or click here to see how IDRS can help guide you through your next campaign.  Our print experts know all the tricks and will help you design a piece that demands attention.
